The Grinch Stole Christmas

Today was Science Day and there was a bit of a surprise. There were Grinch signs on the gate and we discovered that all of our Christmas Trees and Advent Calendars had disappeared.

We found a letter for The Grinch.  He said if we could follow the clues, we might be able to have our trees back.

Our clues involved:

- making circuits

- chemical reactions

- reflection

- research into a significant scientific figure

- melting ice

- magnets

- invisible ink

Luckily, everyone worked together and solved all the clues, the code opened the padlock, we got the key and found all our trees in the Octagon!  The Grinch had also left us a letter, congratulating us on our science skills and teamwork, and telling us that he thinks we deserve to have our trees back!
