Oak Class Trip to Tutankhamun Museum

What an adventure we've had!  To kick off our fantastic Spring term learning, we packed our bags and went on an exciting trip to the Tutankhamun Museum in Dorchester! We had the best time exploring and learning all about the amazing discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.

Here's what we discovered about Howard Carter's big find! We learned all about how the famous tomb was discovered back in 1922.  A historical mystery! We also found out that archaeologists now think Tutankhamun might have been killed in an accident – how intriguing!

What’s next?  The children are buzzing with ideas and can't wait to put everything they've learned to use to help with our special project this term. Get ready, because we're finishing everything off with a spectacular "living museum" event on Friday, February 6th!

A huge shout-out to our helpers!  We want to send a massive thank you to Claire (Lucy's mum) and Dan (Daisy's Dad) for coming along and being such wonderful support on our adventure. We couldn’t do these trips without you!

We’re so excited for everything we'll learn together this term!
