The Governing Body Structure
The Governors are responsible for the effectiveness of the school. The Full Governing Body meets at least once a term and the committees more frequently. The committees cover Holistic Wellbeing and Support, Curriculum and Leaning and Resources and Environment. The minutes of all meetings are available from the office. A word from the Governors
The governors, who have a wealth of experience between them, are firmly committed to ensuring that the highest standards of education are maintained throughout Symondsbury School. Governors are very much ‘hands on’ and play an active role in the the school and supporting the staff. The Governing Body is ambitious for the future and always striving to improve the already excellent facilities and resources. The Governors value and support the long-held reputation of Symondsbury School for providing a safe, happy and family orientated environment in which the children can learn and develop.
