Oak Class – DT – Roman Catapults

This week, Oak class has been focusing on DT. As part of our Roman topic, we made catapults. We had amazing fun making them and then testing them out in a mini-Roman battle.

 

Residential - Hooke - 11th-12th March 2025

Hooke Court Residential

What a great time we had at Hooke Court on our overnight residential.  As part of our Roman Experience, our Roman in charge, Kirsty, took us through life in Roman times.  We learnt about cooking, writing, maths, how to be a Roman Solider, art and we dressed Mr Knowles up as a Roman solider in all the uniform.
